final group ideas

my ideas on our product

we had our team meeting and came up with some good ideas. i thought that the product should be called chew goo and that our slogan should be, what colour goo will you chew. i also said that the packaging should be blue, however this should be changed because it is boring.

Their product is advertised using an old fashioned style print ad.
Their image is of a vintage woman led on a bed holding a a packet of their new chocolate and mint gum, her eye has been replaced with a mouth.
They have used brown, green and white coloures because they represent the flavoures of the gum. brown for chocolate, and green and white for mint.
The advert is funny because her eye is a mouth, i also think it is cool because of its
vintage, old fashioned look.
The gum is aimed at people who like the taste of it, or have bad breath.

This product is a nike shoe.
They are advertising their new shoe.
Nike is telling us that a lot of work goes into making a pair of shoes and that they are professionally made and of good quality.
The message of the advert is that a lot of work goes in to making a nike shoe.
The target audience is for anybody that wants a good quality, well made shoe.
I think that it reaches the target audience well.
Its quite a humorous advert because there is mini people and a crane to make a shoe, but it is also informing people that a lot of work goes into making their shoes.
I like the advert and i think that the point they are trying to get across is very clear and easy to notice.

The product is BMW's new car the Z3.
They are advertising their new car.
They are telling us that their new car is fast and agile. i know this because they have shadowed out the bottom of the car so that it looks like a shark, it is a descrete way of saying that it has similair features to a shark.
The target audience is for young to middle aged people that want a quality thrill seeking and good sportscar.
I think that it reaches its target audience.
It is a dramatic advert because the lighting makes the car look like a shark, but it is also informative because it is telling the audience that it has the same qualities and features of a shark.
I like the advert because its simplicity is dramatic and effective, which means that people aknowledge it and think about what it means.
