Sherlock Holmes and Dr John Watson investigate crimes in 21st Century London. These episodes are very funny, fast paced, and full suspense. It is a brilliant remake of the Arthur Conan Doyle originals. I really enojyed these sherlock holmes episodes , because they are very modern and there is always alot happeing to keep you interested.
I think the actor who plays sherlock Benedict Cumberbatch is a very good at his role, as he is very exsentric and talks very fast, and seems to be intelligent which is matched to the sherlock holmes character he is also very funny.
the target audience for sherlock is mixed but probably for older people due to the fact that it is on at 9:30pm on BBC1.

we finished watching an episode of 'CSI miami' and i think it is better than 'New Tricks' however it is alot less believeable than most crime dramas, and it leads the audience on to belive something and then within a matter of seconds.CSI is much more less realistic and quite far fetched compared to other crime dramas.In real life it takes days to interview somebody, whereas in CSI it takes a matter of seconds, and they also get farenzics involved even though it is not needed and it costs alot of money.

New Tricks series 9, episode 5: Body Of Evidence
last lesson we finished watching the tv crime drama called 'New Tricks'. i thought that it was okay but when you compare it to some of the other crime dramas that are around such as 'Law and Order UK' and 'CSI' you can tell that it was made using a much smaller budget due to the fact that there isnt very many special effects and not much action or fight scenes, which you would expect to see in most crime drama tv series.However it has a good storyline because the detective initially thought that a murder had occured when really he had just died from a brain hemerage but with lots of twists the detectives discovered that the man that had died was infact having an internet affair with one of the worlds most prestigious internet hackers around, but the man that had died was actually trying to get the internet hacker in trouble and arrested, and in the end that infact did happen.
This episode atleast has used alot of the common strategies that are normally used in crime dramas such as:
- bodies
- a morgue
- police
- evidence and technical police language
- people walking along and another person joining in out of no where
- a chase scene
- an interrigation (good cop/bad cop)
- confusion
- frustration
Overall i think that the show is okay but if i had the choice i would rather watch a different crime drama.

Today I finished editing my version of the Romeo and Juliet trailer and also wrote a quick description about the UK crime drama midsomer murders.
In my trailer i used a hardcore peice of music to give the impression that the film is a full on, gripping big action thriller.

I would say that i am happy with the prezi that i have produced i believe that i have used some good skills needed to create a prezi presentation.I have used suitable and fitting pictures and also a fair amount of writing for each stage.
